The information shown in the security overview will vary according to your access to repositories, and on whether GitHub Advanced Security is used by those repositories.
Viewing the security overview for an organization
Note: The "Security Risk" and "Security Coverage" views are currently in beta and subject to change.
- On GitHub.com, navigate to the main page of the organization.
- Under your organization name, click Security.

- To display a summary view, in the sidebar, click Risk or Coverage.
- Optionally, to focus on the information of greatest interest, select the Teams dropdown filter and search box.
- Optionally, use links in the "Dependabot", "code scanning", and "secret scanning" header summaries to filter results further.

- Optionally, use the sidebar on the left to explore alerts for a specific security feature in greater detail. On each page, you can use filters that are specific to that feature to fine-tune your search. For more information about the available qualifiers, see "Filtering alerts in the security overview."
Viewing the security overview for an enterprise
Note: You can enable or disable security features that have a one-click setup directly from the Security Coverage view. For more information, see "About the security overview."

Navigate to GitHub.com.

In the top-right corner of GitHub.com, click your profile photo, then click Your enterprises.

In the list of enterprises, click the enterprise you want to view.

In the left sidebar, click Code Security.
